This genuine leather Kindle cover was entirely hand made by me, from cutting, tooling, and dying the leather to punching the holes, stitching the pieces together, and adding the metal button and leather strap.
There are many types and sizes of Kindles. The slightly larger cover fits both the older basic Kindle and the Kindle Paperwhite. The slightly smaller cover fits the 2016 basic Kindle or the Kindle Voyage. This listing does NOT fit any of the Kindle Fires or the other Kindle e-readers. Please make sure you are ordering a cover for the right Kindle.
I have used industrial strength Velcro to hold your Kindle securely to the cover. There are no straps, so your Kindle appears to be floating free inside the cover. An advantage of Velcro over straps is that as Amazon releases new versions of the Kindle, as long as it is a similar size, you only have to buy a little more Velcro, not a whole new cover. Straps will be either too tight or too loose unless the new device is exactly the same size. The upper Velcro on the Kindle Voyage cover is set a bit to the left, to accommodate the power button on the back.
The larger cover measures approximately 6 7/8" tall x 4 7/8" wide x 5/8" thick with a Kindle inside. The smaller cover measures approximately 6 1/2" tall x 4 7/8" wide x 5/8" thick with a Kindle inside.
Each cover is made to order. The picture represents what your cover will look like, but each piece of leather is different and will have its own variations. Please allow a week for me to make your cover especially for you.
This item can be personalized with a name or initials at no extra charge. Most of my alphabets are upper case only. Most alphabets also offer numbers, but not all. You can choose any of the alphabets, but space may determine which alphabet can be used. You can also choose which button you would like. Please let me know your choices in the notes section when ordering.

Payment is due at the time of sale. I accept PayPal, Debit Cards, and Credit Cards only. Sorry, no checks or money orders after being burned one too many times.
Shipping:
Most domestic orders are shipped via United States Postal Service, Priority Mail. International orders will be shipped First Class Mail. I will ship to the address you have listed with ArtFire, unless instructed otherwise. For items in stock, I ship the next business day after receiving payment. For made-to-order items, I ship as soon as your order is dry and ready for an envelope. If your order is large enough to require a box, I'll contact you about whether you'd prefer Parcel Post or Priority Mail.
For international orders, any VAT, import or duty tax or other fee required by your country on an order shipped out of the US is the responsibility of the buyer. Please familiarize yourself with your country's import, custom and tax policies before ordering. Unfortunately, Italy prohibits import of leather goods, so I am unable to ship leather items to Italy.
Refunds and Exchanges:
I want you to be happy with your purchase. If you don't like your non-personalized item, send it back to me for a full refund (less shipping). Unfortunately, I can't accept returns for personalized items. Also unfortunately, I can't be responsible if you order a Kindle cover for the wrong Kindle, or if you tell me the wrong letters for personalization. Please make sure you are ordering correctly.
If your order is received damaged, please notify me immediately via email at linda@lindasgardenleather.com. Please keep the damaged packaging, as that will help if we need to make a claim.
