Thank you for your interest in my handmade jewelry. I enjoy and take pride in making high quality, semi-precious gemstone necklaces, pendants, earrings, bracelets, anklets, rings, and musical instrument jewelry.
It is important that you are totally satisfied with your purchase. This information will give you details on the quality of my workmanship, plus information regarding payment methods, shipping insurance, refunds, and other services that I offer.
When purchasing as a guest buyer, please fill in all the required information accurately, including your first and last name, and the (USA) state abbreviation. If you need assistance making a purchase, please message me at "ask this seller a question".
Your payment is processed through either your PayPal account or your credit card though the payment processor Stripe. Your credit card number or PayPal account information is not accessible to me. When your purchase is completed, I am only able to see your shipping information and order details. If your payment is not completed within 48 hours of ordering, the sale will be canceled. Please make sure your e-mail address is the same for both ArtFire and PayPal (if you are purchasing with PayPal).
After your package is shipped USPS first class, you will receive an email message with a USPS tracking number.

USPS IS CURRENTLY BEHIND IN DELIVERIES ANYWHERE FROM A FEW DAYS, TO A WEEK OR MORE DUE TO COVID-19. CONTACT YOUR LOCAL POST OFFICE WITH YOUR TRACKING NUMBER TO RECEIVE UPDATES ON DELIVERY.
Items are shipped USPS First Class. Items over $30.00 are shipped with insurance coverage. You can request insurance on any items under $30.00 by contacting me before you make the purchase. I will adjust the cost of your item.
If you are in a hurry to receive your merchandise and would like USPS Priority Mail (2-3 Day delivery) shipping, please contact me BEFORE you place your order. I will adjust the shipping fee to reflect the extra cost to ship Priority Mail. CURRENTLY, (01/2021), DUE TO COVID-19, PRORITY MAIL MAY NOT BE DELIVERED WITHIN. 2-3 DAYS.
Your item(s) will be shipped within two days after your payment has been received. I often ship the same day I receive your order. Exceptions on Sundays, holidays, or serious weather conditions. Packages being shipped from Cleveland, Ohio (my location) usually reach their destination in three to six days, occasionally a couple of days longer. Delays due to weather conditions or the busy holiday season can take a few days longer. If you are buying Christmas gifts, I suggest ordering no later than December 14th.
Your item(s) will be packaged securely with packing materials for mailing. The majority of items are shipped in a padded bubble envelope. Some items include a gift box.
Please understand that once USPS tracking shows the "delivered at/in mailbox" status, it is not considered lost by USPS and no claim for a refund can be processed. I do not refund for packages showing delivery. Contact your local post office with your tracking number to request a GPS scan. That can tell them exactly where the package was placed. Only insured items that arrived damaged are considered for filing insurance claims. See more information below under "Damaged Items".
The following applies if I am not offering free shipping. If you order more than one item, the shipping cost for the additional item(s) is $1.00. There is no additional charge for ordering more than one item that ships free.
If the (insured) item arrives damaged due to poor handling by USPS, you will be required to take a photo of the item (crushed package, item, etc.) Once this photo is emailed or mailed to me, it will be used to file a claim with USPS. After I receive the photos you may return the item to me with USPS tracking. Insurance coverage is recommended for the return.
PURCHASING ITEMS AS GIFTS FOR OTHERS:
If you are buying a gift for someone else and would like the receipt sent to you instead of the recipient, please let me know at "notes to seller" when ordering. I will contact you for your home or business address to send you the receipt. Otherwise, the receipt will be enclosed with your gift.
CHOICE OF COLOR, SIZE, LENGTH:
If you are to make a choice of color, size, or length as indicated in the description, please indicate your choice at "notes to seller" at checkout. If I cannot reach you by email after 24 hours for this information, you will receive my choice.
Items are packaged and well protected in either a cardboard jewelry box and bubble envelope or a plastic jewelry bag wrapped in cushioning in a bubble envelope. All delicate pieces, for example, crystals and glass, will be packed with extra cushioning.
The beading wire I use in most of my beaded gemstone necklaces and bracelets is 49 strands. This grade of wire is the top quality because it is the strongest, the most durable, and provides the best drape. I will indicate in my descriptions when I have used 49 strands wire. Some lighter designs only require 7 strands. It is the most common strands used by jewelry artisans. For a professional finish and durability, I use wire guardian protectors and crimp covers in most necklaces and bracelets.
My gemstones are purchased from either gem shows or jewelry supply dealers. I buy the highest quality stones I can find.
I often use earring wires that are either non-nickel (nickel-free), sterling silver, or surgical steel. This enables you to enjoy your earrings without allergic, itchy ears. Any earring wire can be exchanged to the metal of your choice. Metal clip-on are also available, including copper clip-on.
Chain and cord are purchased in bulk, measured, and cut to length with findings and clasps added. All chain with charm jewelry is constructed by hand. I can shorten the length of the chain and cord at your request.
Many items in sets (a necklace with bracelet, for example) can be purchased separately. If not indicated in the description, please inquire. I would be happy to arrange a separate listing for you.

RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND EXCHANGES:
All items except earrings are returnable within 14 days (including weekend days). You are responsible for the cost of shipping the item(s) back to me USPS First Class. Please include USPS tracking. Insurance coverage is recommended for items $30.00 and over. Please return the gift box, if applicable. Keep your shipping receipt as proof of your return. If the returned package gets lost on its return to me, it will be your responsibility to file a claim with your local post office. Once I have received your returned item, I will issue a refund.
UNDELIVERABLE ITEMS SHIPPED BACK TO ME:
Items shipped back to me "undeliverable" because you have moved away and did not provide a forwarding address to the post office will be issued the refund minus the fee incurred by he payment processor Stripe or PayPal (2.9% +.30).

Jewelry is made in my smoke-free home. Your items and packaging will arrive without tobacco or other odors. I DO have two cats, however, they are not allowed in my craft room.
Certain metals including sterling silver can tarnish over time. A jewelry polishing cloth made especially for removing tarnish is recommended. Keep your jewelry in a plastic bag or jewelry box to resist tarnish.
Please use your discretion when purchasing jewelry for children under age 13. Some items may contain lead-based materials. Small parts could cause a choking hazard in younger children.
