Benjamin Franklin sculpture signing Declaration of Independence Art
This is a hand made sculpture of a Norman Rockwell painting which he painted for the 1926 cover of the magazine "The Saturday Evening post."
It celebrated the 150th year of Benjamin Franklin signing of the Declaration of Independence.The sculpture was created with clay then a mold was made. It was created in cold cast marble, then hand painted and placed on a wooden base. The details such as the inkwell on the desk the and the table legs are bronze. The quill and the glasses are etched copper.
The height is 12 inches including the base. This is a limited edition sculpted by Brian Cole.
