Butterflies and Pink Breast Cancer Ribbons on Blue Cotton Cloth Mask
The outside shell and inside liner are 100% cotton lined with a thin, non-woven fusible interfacing. There is a pocket for a liner and it comes with a polypropylene* one. It also comes with an 18 gauge nose wire that has an open ended pocket so you can change out the wire or leave it out all together. The mask has an adjustable elastic strap that holds the mask on comfortably while maintaining a good seal around the nose, sides of the face, and under the chin and will not bother your ears. You can remove this elastic strap and replace with elastic around the ears if that works better for you. Very versatile and provides a good deal of protection when worn properly. The design also keeps the material from touching you mouth and eyes.
Check out the other material patterns I have available on my FB page in the Face Mask Material album.
Color of inside material, elastic, and thread may vary.

*"The thin plastic filaments in typical disposable face masks are a polymer called polypropylene. Polypropylene has two great properties for repelling viruses: it is negatively charged, and it is water-repellent. Now, viruses need water to remain viable, and are also negatively charged. As you recall from 5th grade science class, negative repels negative. Thus, the negatively-charged polypropylene molecule will repel the negatively-charged virus, and because polypropylene also repels water, the virus is denied the moisture it needs to be viable...Why cotton: Cotton is porous, which makes it more comfortable for breathing. Also, because cotton is positively charged, the negatively charged virus exiting the wearer’s mouth or nose will be attracted to the cotton molecule and not migrate through the mask to the outside where it can infect others. Also, because cotton is absorbent, it will pull the moisture out of the virus, causing it to “die” faster."
