Vibrant tropical flowers grace this polymer clay candle holder

Vibrant orange and gold tropical flowers grace this 4 by 6 glass candle holder. When using a candle make for interesting lights and shadows. Great for any room of the house or outside. I mixed custom colors out of polymer clay. Formed them into a cane by using logs, triangles circles, of polymer clay (you get the idea.) When I had the design, I wanted. I reduced the cane by hand. Think slice and bake Christmas cookies with the design inside. Slice the cane with a tissue blade which is very sharp into slices. Then I applied the slices to the vessel into whatever my design was. Then hand sculpted the flowers and leaves.
When using an allover design then I bake it the oven, sand it by hand and apply a sealer. If it is a design pattern that space between the slices I bake right on the vessel. And use a strong glue and then sand then seal. I ship UPSP priority mail which cut down on breakage has insurance and can be tracked. I hope you enjoy using it as much as I did making it.
