Compact Mini Clutch Dance Purse Carry Case Elgin American Minaudière

Excellent condition, this is a wonderful Elgin American Minaudière that is complete with its small gros grain case with one side that has a secure snap with a slip pocket that includes the original comb. The compact case includes some loose powder with original puff (lightly used), a narrow compartment for coins or pills, a lipstick tube, a mirror with a hidden compartment to hold cigarettes, and a clip for lipstick tissues (or folded bills). The lipstick tube does not appear to have ever been used. The handle measures 3 1/2" long and the compact measures 4 3/4" x 3" x 1 1/2". There is a crease in the handle drop and the belt strap for the handle has been repaired. Please note that there is a black piece of foam that is inserted behind the hinged mirror panel to show the opening. The interior is signed Elgin American and the hinge panels depict gazelles that are simply beautiful. Although negligible, there are some light scratches and imperfections to the exterior of the compact purse. The handle has a crease, the belt strap has been repaired, and the case has some light wear. To inspect photos, simply click on the binocular icon on the top right corner of any photo.
