Vintage Style: She Dreams

Here's a vintage-style young lady who seems to be a fine, up-right, lass grounded in her straight-laced life surrounded by flowers and accompanied by her loving kitty cat. But what is that peeking out from the flowers? A letter from a far-away place, perhaps? Maybe that's why her pretty turquoise window tells the real story: "she dreams of faraway places and daring adventures". This small (5"x7") flat canvas began with a collaged and stenciled background painted in grayish neutral shades that seem to just match the young ladies regal bearing. At her feet are a multitude of pretty paper flowers, and a lovely little paper butterfly just waiting fly through her painted wood window. This lovely little picture is set in a driftwood-look frame.
