Deep Red Poppy Jasper Pebble Earrings Antique Silver

Deep red colored poppy jasper pebbles have interesting black and clear quartz markings. The free form pebbles are strung on sterling silver wire that I then coiled and spiraled and wrapped into a fanciful earring ornament. I then antiqued the silver to darken it, buffing out some brighter highlights. The grey tone of the darkened silver adds a rustic feel to the design and complements the darker spots in the pebbles. I chose to make a simple hook style ear wire so that the fun spiral wire and pebble dangle would be the main attraction. * Poppy jasper pebbles display dark red ground color and black, grey, clear splotches * Antiqued sterling silver has dark grey and brighter silver highlights * Ear wires are handcrafted of sterling silver * 1.75 inches (about 50mm) long
