Provencal Gypsy Earrings, Citrine Quartz, Sodalite, Dark Copper

Reminiscent of the pretty patterned fabrics from Provence that are often sunny yellow and blue, these earrings combine honey gold citrine quartz and blue sodalite stones and dark copper wire work in an easy-going chandelier style. Bright metallic copper beads add dimension and light into the design. A large citrine quartz faceted bead is strung on antiqued copper wire with a fleur de lis or trefoil pattern at the base. Tiny round copper and medium blue sodalite beads dangle from the loops. I used a dark-finished niobium earwire. Niobium is non-allergenic and has the rich color of dark antique copper.
