about Bill Olivas: Bill is a transplanted artist from San Jose, California to San Antonio, Texas. In California, I was an Engineer for many high tech companies. I grew bored with that and started selling my artwork on the Riverwalk here in San Antonio. As my body of work grew, I transferred to Market Square in downtown San Antonio. I have now been there around 15 years in basically the same spot. I now do many portraits by commission of the many tourists that come to the market as well as celebrity images which I actually do live when I am at Market Square. I currently market over 600 images of known celebrities and a few dozen pieces on Native American art.
