Interests

I am very inspired by nature. I enjoy walking along the beach or the woods. The colors and the tranquility fill me with a sense of inner peace that I translate into my work. I also enjoy traveling and find it to be very inspiring as well.

Skills and Techniques

Each piece is one-of-a-kind and takes at least 20 hrs. To make. The pieces if glass are cut and assembled and fired for 10 hrs. The piece is then sanded smooth on the edges and slumped into shape in the kiln for another 8 hrs.

I am an award-winning glass artist from Chicago who makes colorful one-of-a-kind pieces. I love color! I feel it is a great mood elevator and we should all wear more of it and use more of it when we decorate. I studied art for many years before making glass my focus. I love the beauty and unpredictabilty of working with it. I have many influences for my work including nature, art deco, asian art and abstract art. My work can also be found in galleries in Chicago and Florida. In my work you are sure to find a piece of wearable art or art for your home you will treasure forever.
