Get to Know

Hi, I'm Carol from Decatur, GA. I'm inspired by beautiful beads and showing them off. Most of my pieces involve bead weaving as the base. Bead weaving, especially stitches like Ndebele (or Herringbone), are very versatile and allow you to show off the characteristics of focal beads -- each in their own unique way. I make the beaded ropes in a way that gives dimension, style and sparkle.

You will see all types of beads in my work - vintage Lucite and glass, wood, crystal, pearls stone, polymer clay, Czech glass, to name a few, plus unique lampwork beads from artists all over the world - so look for a wide variety of beads in my work. I also love to make my own pendants as another way to create unique style.

I'm a crafter and artist from way back. I love to create and beading is my passion.
